In this next drawing tutorial, we will be learning how to draw a female eye. Female eyes in are very attractive and is quite interesting. The are more eye lashes which makes it very pretty. This tutorial is done by using B, 2B & 4B Pencil. Though The length of the Video lesson is 26 minutes in but is speeded up to show in 8.35 minutes.
Step 1:Start with drawing the pupil in the eye. Draw two concentric circle as shown in the image below. Your drawing should be very light. Even if you do not get exact circle do not worry about that, by some practice you will improve.
Step 2:The next step is to draw the outline of the eye, both on the top as well as the bottom. Draw two curved line as shown in the image below. Do not hold the pencil tight, instead be little relaxed and draw.
Step 3:After this, you should draw another two outlines on the top and bottom which is the eye lid. Next is to draw the outline of the eyebrow.
Step4:The eye which we are drawing is the left eye, and hence draw a thin line on the right side of the eye which is the nose. And you can start shading the iris. A dark circle in the centre and thin lines from inside to out. Also leave a small space inside the pupil which gives an effect of light inside the eye.
Step 5:The next step is to darken the shades inside the pupil. You should use 2B and 4B pencil depending on the amount of depth you require for the shades.
Step 6:You need to darken the shades on the eyelid. Also, you can shade a bit inside the white part of the eye. A pure white inside the eye will not give a good effect, so it is better to give a thin shade.
Step 7:Use 4B pencil where you want to darken more. On the top portion of the eyelid you can darken more. You need to also shade outside the eye to give tone of the skin. Also use 2B pencil to shade at the bottom part of the eye as shown in the image below.
Step 8:Shade more on the outer part of the eye. Next you need to shade the eyebrow. Do not just darken the eyebrow, instead you need to shade using B pencil and the lines should be visible. It gives an effect of the hair on the eyebrow.
Step 9:In the next step you can start drawing the eye lashes. Again use 4B pencil, but ensure it is sharp enough so that you get lines from thin to thick. The eyebrow from inside out should be think to think. Once the eye brows are drawn it gives an attractiveness to the image.
Step 10:This is the final step in the drawing and you can draw the eye lashes on the bottom part of the eyelid. Use 4B pencil and shade from inside out, so it is thick to thin. Also darken the eyebrows a little bit. Please ensure that there is a small white patch in the pupil which gives an effect of a real eye.
You must have by now understood how to draw a female eye. Keep practicing it till you can draw and shade perfectly.
In this tutorial, I am going to explain how to draw a man eye. Unlike when drawing a women or a baby eyes, drawing a man eye is generally the drawing lines rough, thick and the eyebrows are more hairy. This drawing is done using a B, H & 4B Pencil. The length of the Video lesson is 15.20 minutes in but is speeded up to show in 7.40 minutes.
Step 1:The first step is to draw the pupil of an eye. Draw two concentric circle as shown in the figure. It is not necessarly required that it need to be exactly concentric circles, if you do not get it. Buy constant practice you will be able to do that.
Step 2:The next step is to draw a thin curved line on the top. Hold the pencil little loose and when you are drawing the outlines.
Step 3:After this draw a thin curved line on the lower part as shown in the figure. We are drawing a left eye here and drawing should be as shown.
Step4:Draw another thin curved line on the top and bottom part of the eyes.
Step 5:The next step is to draw the outline of an eyebrow.
Step 6:Now we can start shading the iris part of the pupil. You can leave a small part of the iris without shading just to show the reflection of the light.
Step 7:Next step is to shade the pupil part. Again just like how small part of the iris was left without shading some part of the pupil should also be left without shading to show the light reflection.
Step 8:You can now shade the lower part of the eyes. Use 4B pencil to shade the lower part of the eyes.
Step 9:Shade the part of the eyes where the eye lashes. These shade should not be too dark but should be dark enough to show the outer lines.
Step 10:You can start drawing the Eye lashes. Thin curved lines will be drawn to show the eye lashes.
Step 11:Use B and 4B pencil to draw the eye brows on the top part of the eyes. Be careful it should not be smudged, and also do not draw straight lines, but instead thin lines just like hairs to be drawn.
Step 12:Next is to draws the eye lashes in the lower part of the eyes just as shown in the image.
Step 13:Give more darkness to the entire image by shading the eyes.
Step 14:At the overall level use little more shades. Shade a bit more just at the corner of the eyes to show a depth to the image. Will cover more in detail in future tutorials.
